My name is Penny, my favourite genre of music is usually musical theatre, mainly contemporary/modern but there are a few classical musicals that I enjoy the music of, but except for that I usually enjoy pop and most recently punk/rock songs, mainly from the 1980s to the early 2000s. One of my favourite artists is Little Mix and they have been my favourite band since they first started. I have been to every one of their concerts except for the most recent one.

I also have their vinyl record of their new album "Between us" and I also have other vinyl records of Olivia Rodrigo's new album "SOUR", as well as other artists such as ABBA, the Beatles, Boney M, and the Grease cast album. I find vinyls so much more fun to listen to rather than Apple Music or Spotify because it feels so nostalgic from the CD players from when I was younger.

Even though I have these vinyls, I do usually use Apple Music by using the family plan to pay for it as a monthly subscription, which means I can download and add music without having to pay for it individually, and can create albums with music without actually having to download it properly. I usually then blast out these albums I've made, of which I have many, in the car for me, and occasionally my parents, to sing along to.
One of my favourite music videos at the moment is probably transparent soul by WILLOW because it looks so original and nostalgic by having the early 2000s style of clothes and the fish eye camera style also with the high saturation. The storyline of the video is also very original and cool I think, which is why I enjoy it so much.

I also like artists such as Bruno mars, Taylor Swift, Arctic monkeys and Queen. Because my dad used to play songs by Queen and the Beatles and many others I have quite a few songs from the early 1970s/80s in my head and I quite enjoy many of those songs, which is probably why I like a large range of music genre. I've been to quite a few concerts, but never any festivals, unless you count the Capital's Summertime ball, which I went to for 3 years in a row and have not been back since covid started, but I always enjoyed that and went with friends.
